opportunities for underserved children to develop and master the skills they need to write their own paths forward, undefined by circumstance.
When young people are confident in their ability to learn and succeed in school, they make good choices, they follow their aspirations through High School to college and career and they contribute to their communities.
Why It Matters
Nearly all economically advantaged students in Blaine County graduate from high school.
But just 7 in 10 low income students, like our Dreamer Scholars, will reach high school graduation.
Of the 7 who graduate, just 1 is likely to go on to college and earn a bachelor’s degree.*
